You know how you have dreams? Dreams you never think will come true? Things that seem so far fetched as to be laughable if you speak them out loud? Last night my dream came true. I got my show in front of the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim Development Execs. And it's all thanks to #YogaFaceSelfie.

Walter Newman (VP, Comedy Development, Cartoon Network: Adult Swim) may have said, "This is gonna be a hard pass", after reviewing "Yoga Face Selfie", but don't think that will discourage me. I also have a saying, "The harder a Yoga Face Selfie is to achieve, the more glorious the triumph."


Heads up Rick and Morty! You might be having a new network neighbour named "Yoga Face Selfie" sometime soon.

"Your beliefs don't make you a better person, yoga face does." was inspired by a quote by Sukhraj S. Dillon, "Your beliefs don't make you a better person, your behaviour does." I love how by switching words contained in inspirational quotes and completely transform the meaning and, if you're lucky, will also give you a better understanding of how the quote works. This one, for example, is largely based on confirmation bias. When confirmation bias is in effect, we will assume that other people will have the same concept of what behaviour will make you a "better" person. Culture to culture that idea of actions or behaviours that will make you a "better" person will shift. If you replace the word "behaviour" with a specific action, you will undoubtable lose a portion of your audience that feel the action your have described does not actually make you a better person. This is interesting stuff, I think.
